This is one of the oldest videos on UA-cam. Uploaded 4 months after UA-cam began.
This is the worst amp review I've ever seen.
ROTFL!!!! $850 !!!???
its wild that one of the first videos on youtube was about my favorite amp
I bought this pedal when I was about 15 years old. I'm 35 now and still have it and won't get rid of it. I always loved wah effect and had a couple cry babys which are great as well. At that teenage time in my life I was getting deep into Hendrix, copied his licks and experimenting with his shapes and style. I seen this pedal and was ultimately drawn to it, especially after playing on it. I already knew the seven signature songs for the seven signature tones on the pedal and had an absolute blast with it. The fuzz tones are incredible. The wah is absolutely amazing. If you know those seven songs, and you learn the jimi pedal(which is very easy to just pickup and use), you will sound spot on like Jimi. I wouldn't be surprised if the price has or will go up from 200, because 200 bucks is a good deal for this pedal for the sounds and tones that you get out of it. Unfortunately mine has been out of commission for a while because (i believe) the gear calibration slipped on the pedal position, but that could have very well been from rough use and travel(faults of my own). Love this pedal though. If u love playing Hendrix, you need The Jimi Hendrix Experience pedal.
Where did u get your handle bars if u don't mind me askin?
since variax uses piezo, would i be able to use it with my variax stuff?
Solid sounding pickups
Stumbled upon this video from 17 years ago, wow. In the manual for the Zoom MS-70CDR multi pedal a patch.. "SeqFLTR - The sequence filter has the flavor of a Z.Vex Seek-Wah." and yeah it sounds very similar to the sound used on Throw Away Your Television - Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Ironic that a review on sound quality was done without anyone considering _mic placement_ for the lavaliere mic, eh?
This dude still around for EVH Products....He Da Gear Hoe
2024 this pedal sounds are still spot on
I love zvex. I don't know how this came up but it's the oldest video I've see yet.
GAMER GUNK
Is it too loud for bedroom using ? Im looking for some "plexi" AC/DC amp, but dont want to disturb my neighbours.
Recently, I have obtained a low-wattage tube amplifier that produces an impressive sound. However, I encountered a challenge in managing its volume, particularly when seeking a saturated sound. To address this issue, I discovered an effective solution by utilizing a Weber Mini Mass attenuator in conjunction with the amplifier. This setup enables me to achieve the desired sound while maintaining a considerate volume level, ensuring minimal disruption to my surroundings. This approach can be applied to any tube amplifier of your preference. I recommend opting for low-wattage tube amplifiers (ranging from 5 watts to 20 watts) in combination with an attenuator.
I use it with a 1968 Marshall cab and it delivers a real brown sound, with those subtle midrange nuances and the "Fair Warning" textures. It sounds a thousand times more realistic than those adulterated, overly distorted "brown sounds" some folks pretend to achieve with 10 k USD worth of equipment. If your hands are strong enough it is extremely touch sensitive.
More than 28 inches & they only tuned down to D?
There's a lot more tones you can get that he's not showing. Every song model has at least 2 different tone changes.....basically between chords and solos. Some solos sections have 3 different choices . Great pedal to have and being able to adjust settings such as gain / modulation and echo speeds...reverb levels, etc, you can get a lot of variations , besides the intended Hendrix tones.
Nice

And still sounds awesome! Great guitars.
It’s basically a Wolfgang
Also here again and bought a Transparent Moonburst FT in the early 2010s. Own it since them and want now a second one.
I can't believe I've been watching this video for 17 years and still don't own this pedal!😮
What's preventing you from getting one ? It's a lot of fun.
17 years ago and still ahead of its time!!
Hi everybody! I own a Hamer standard XT made in Indonesia. But I dont know its year. Does anyone know in wich years this babies were made in that country? Thanks!
I'm sure I watched this demo 15 years ago, but found it again today. Good stuff, good stuff.
What a bad camera.
I like the guitars. Logical, good design. I just think putting s burst on the finish is lacking a decent sized canvas, do you speak... Like admiring the Mona Lisa on a postage stamp.
Keren gitar AXL👍
boot dude!
I got kicked out of guitar center last time i tried this
Good old Texas boy taken too soon Rip .
I remember. Merry Christmas
This pickup is good for playing gilmour and jimi hendrix ??
Still remember when this video came out. Damn time flew and I’m old now
I was thinking this might be the very first video on UA-cam

Who is also watching that in 2022?

I have those in a California Strat 58s in the neck and middle 61 in the bridge sounds great to me position 2 awesome knopfler sound..think first and second Dire Staits albums...
Anyone remember what amp the pink/purple one was in Amplitube 2?
The pickups are noiseless; however Paul's shirt isn't.
Es como el Adrenalinn de RogerLinn
Can i use it for live
🤘My favorite Peavey ever!
Does anyone knows the tremolo arm's reference for this guitare????? Just purchased one, but trem arm missing, looks like this one is special cause hard to find in music strores.....
I think it's just a standard floyd screw in arm. Used to have a Peavey Wolfgang with the same trem. You could mail to Peavey themselves when in doubt. One of the best customer services i know
@@tristan1538 nevermind, i've sold this damn out....
Huh
Jajajaja camionetas Dimarzio???😂😂😂🤣
Mantap
i remember watching this video in junior high school when it came out all those years ago and have been wanting one ever since. finally, 16 years later i've bought a custom painted one and couldn't be happier! beautiful pedal. thanks zvex :)
Nice!

How can crackle on a pot be OK? I just sent a Roll Boost back because of a scratchy pot. I disagree. Crackle is NOT OK.
